5/8 or 1/2 T-111? OUR PREMIUM LINE IS 5/8 AND IT CLEARLY STATE’S THAT IN OUR CATALOG.  5/8 HAS A DEEPER GROOVE THEN THE 1/2 AND 5/8 HAS A 5 PLY VERSUS THE 1/2 HAS A 4 PLY. WE CAN SHOW YOU THE DIFFERENCE!

Are there hidden fees for leveling the building? OUR DRIVER HAS BLOCK’S AND SHIM’S AND WILL MAKE SURE YOUR BUILDING IS READY TO GO!  Please refer to site preparation/delivery sheet.

What kind of warranty do I get? ALL OUR BUILDING’S COME WITH WARRANTY WORK!

Is the sub-floor 16" pressure treated? ELITE MODELS NOW HAVE 12" PRESSURE TREATED! Make sure it says in the catalog the joists are pressure treated.

Do I have my choice of window trim or shutters at no extra charge? WE GIVE YOU THE CHOICE OF EITHER OR AND WE DON'T CHARGE EXTRA!

Are the insides of the doors painted for extra protection?

Is the roof underlay plywood or OSB?

Do I have a choice of plywood or heat shield on roof underlay?

Will you include dimensional shingles at no charge? AMISH MIKE DOES!

Do sheds have overhangs so water can run off roof and not down the sides?

5/8 T-111 OR 1/2 T-111? DON'T BELIVE IT, SEE IT!

Amish Mike has been selling sheds for over 33 years now and the main reason we’ve been in business for so long is due to the integrity of our product. When we sell you one of our premium heavy duty sheds, you get one of our premium heavy duty sheds. Unfortunately, some other shed dealerships are now scaling back on their building specs while still trying to pass off their inferior product as a “heavy duty” shed. But not Amish Mike. Our specifications page clearly states that our sheds are built with a high grade 5/8 t-111 Dura-Temp exterior siding. Some other dealerships may tell you their sheds are 5/8 but it does not state that in their own catalog. Most other dealerships have the option of using 1/2 or 5/8 t-111 siding when they order their shed, DO YOU HAVE THAT SAME CHOICE? Or do they charge you for a 5/8 t-111 shed and then deliver a 1/2 t-111 to your property?

You’ll also notice in our catalog it clearly states 16”on center pressure treated floor joists. Our competitor’s catalogs say nothing about joists being pressure treated. Most dealerships have the option of ordering joists pressure treated, DO YOU?

They may tell you these are standard options in all their sheds, THEN WHY NOT HAVE IT IN THEIR CATALOG? These are tough features to see once a shed has been delivered. At Amish Mike, the shed you buy is the shed you get. Upon your request, we will carefully review your order after we have delivered your shed to your home. We want you to have the same quality shed in your backyard that we have in ours.
